CATHEDRAL EDITION FULL VOICE
DeadEndAegis and the standalone gaiden — JAST's official English localisation carried onto the full-voice scripts. Nothing machine-translated.
Mirrors:pixeldrain
Install
Copy the MGW_CathedralEdition folder over your installed game, replacing files. Its two subfolders match the game's own. This overwrites originals — back them up, or plan to reinstall to undo.
d2d1.dll- Hooks the game's text drawing so English isn't set l i k e t h i s, one letter per full-width cell. Delete it to disable.
init2\printmessage.fxf- Message-box geometry tuned for English.
spt\- The translated scripts plus
namecol.xtx— replace them together or speaker names vanish. - optional exe
- One byte changed (0x1A8EB, 74→EB) so a voice line keeps playing when you open the backlog.
Menus, buttons and the gallery are image assets and stay Japanese; so do the credits.

ANOTHER RECORD FULL VOICE
An English patch for the follow-up, another record -Chiisaki Mono-tachi no Yume-, full-voice version. Machine-translated.
Mirrors:pixeldrain
This patch did not yet get a complete line-by-line editing treatment like the Minagoroshi no Otome patch so it's a bit scuffed towards the end, but nothing incomprehensible
Install
- Install from the disc as normal.
- From the power-up kit, copy the contents of
03: another record パワーアップキット\patch\into the game folder — everything exceptMGW_ar.exe, and don't run the kit'spatch.exe. The kit's exe is wrapped in Soft Denchi copy protection and won't start without that runtime; the voice data works fine with the older exe. - Extract this zip over the game folder, overwriting. It replaces the scripts and puts back the older, voice-patched exe.
Back up MGW_ar.exe, init2\printmessage.fxf and spt\ first if you want a way back. The full-voice update itself makes existing saves unusable — that's the publisher's change, not the patch's.
